I'll start with 10 years ago. We were buying our first house, and knew absolutely nothing about the process. Lorri was referred to is by a family friend and was (i believe) newer to the real estate world at the time. Her knowledge, drive and honesty was apparent from day one. We were young and excited to buy and called her about every house that we might have the slightest interest in. It didn't matter if we talked to her at 7am or 10pm she would get something set up for a viewing, most times that same day (depending on the seller of course). After finding our first house she made sure to check in with us and see how we were. Through the next 10 years she kept in touch. She didn't just sell us a house and forget about us the second we signed on that dotted line. Fast forward 10 years one child later and it was on to bigger and better things. We moved 2 hours away and had to sell our house , which i was still working on and finishing up at the time. I may have a tendency to take things too far and she came and checked out the progress and reeled me in a bit so that we didn't dump excessive money into a place that we were selling but still did everything properly in a way that the next owners would be happy as well. Through that process she didn't call us everyday to see what the progress was, she would just check in from time to time to see if we needed anything or if she could help in any way. Finally I was done and she hired a professional photographer to come in and take pictures of our house. When I say I was done I mean I got finished about half an hour after they showed up after working all night, so there was still some clutter to be shuffled around. She dug in and gave me a hand. As I said before I now live 2 hours away and had to get home to go back to work. She hired a cleaner to go through the house and give it a good once over so that it would show well. And popped by regularly to give it a quick sweep after showings (because i was not able to) and bring the mail in for us. The house sold a month later. Once again we knew nothing about the selling process but we didn't need to because we had "The Lorri". As we were fairly desperate to sell, she wouldnt let us make a bad decision and sell for too low. After being in real estate for another 10 years since our first encounter with her, her knowledge and work ethic are stronger than ever. She didn't get comfortable and just settle in to her position and get lazy. She still has that same drive that she had when we first met her. She will always meet you with a smile and give it to you straight. If anybody needs a realtor I would not hesitate to choose Lorri, in fact I would say drop the realtor you have right now and call her.
