We have used Lorri twice now, once for buying and once for selling. She has a good eye for details in a house in terms of things that sellers may have done in the past to their home or may be trying to hide or gloss over. She seems to know the market quite well and shows that with the comparable homes in the area. She sold our house in one day for asking price. Our only critique and the reason for a 4 and not a 5 star review is that we think that she could have been a bit more aggressive on our asking price when selling and negotiating a lower price on the house we bought in 2018, but that also falls on us at the end of the day. We are 1st time home buyers with no prior experience. We were looking for local realtors in Saskatoon and went through many profiles, read a lot of reviews, asked around, we were specifically searching for someone who would be great for 1st time buyers. We shortlisted a few realtors based on their profiles/ websites/ client reviews, and decided to contact Lorri mainly because we saw that a lot of buyers and many 1st time buyers had been quite happy working with her. We are glad that we selected her to help us find the1st house for our family, because she was really great throughout the process, she obviously works very hard, she responds to messages (texts/emails/phone calls) almost always either immediately or as soon as she can manage. From the very 1st message, she seemed very easy to communicate with, she was very professional, she seemed to know and conveyed to us all the specific relevant details about every house that she showed us. Having her as our realtor, we felt safe, comfortable and confident that with her advice we will manage to find what we need (and avoid what we should not buy) for our 1st house purchase. She arranged a viewing quickly every single time we requested (even when she was not herself convinced that the house was a good candidate for us), she expressed her honest opinions, was always on time, answered all our questions, but never tried to impose her views throughout the whole process. She always responded to any doubts, questions(silly or ignorant) that we had as soon as she could (often within few minutes, even in late evening or night), and made us very comfortable regarding the details and technicalities of the whole process. She also negotiated as much as was reasonably possible on our behalf and constantly advised us on how to best proceed every step of the way. We made our offer on a day when she had a personal dinner to attend, but she worked until the very last minute in the evening, then even during her meal, until we had all the details and documents sorted out. She also arranged a qualified Home Inspector(on our request) and got us in touch with a real estate Solicitor for our needs.
