Before finding Michael, we had worked with another real estate agent who seemed uncommitted, was hesitant to answer our questions, and whose answers were often incomplete when he did reply - before literally giving up on us without the courtesy of even letting us know. Everything changed once we started working with Michael. He spent time talking us through everything, never hesitated to answer our questions, and was thorough, timely, and understanding of our needs and situation. His friendliness, good nature, and industry experience are unmistakable qualities. He’s a professional with integrity who values you as a person instead of a number. It seemed like an impossible task - finding the perfect family home at an affordable price, in the middle of a pandemic, and in time to have our kids registered at their new schools. Michael jumped to the challenge and laid out all of our options and the potential paths we could take. He built us a plan that made sense. He found suitable listings and used his connections to get us in for visits with almost no notice. Michael walked us through the entire process and never hesitated to answer our many questions, providing valuable clarification and insights at every step. He also recommended (at our request) a broker and home inspector who both came through for us as well. Michael prioritized our circumstances and needs over his bottom line. We were interested in several homes and it would have been very easy for him to push us towards the most expensive ones (which would have meant a larger cut for him), but he consistently reminded us of what our initial spending target was and kept us to it at a time when we were getting desperate and could have been pushed into spending more than we initially wanted to. We had little-to-no prior real estate experience, we were rushed, and we could have been influenced easily. Michael could have taken advantage of that, but instead he used those factors to reassure and guide us. We found our family home, within our intended price range, and in time for our kids to be registered at their new schools. We couldn’t have done it without him. Our entire family is beyond grateful. When it came time to make an offer, Michael really shined. We were competing with other buyers, but his communication skills and industry knowledge got our bid accepted, despite the seller receiving higher offers. The seller even made a point of telling us that our agent was amazing and that his savvy was the primary reason our offer was accepted so quickly (literally less than half an hour later – and without cutting any corners or skipping on conditions)! If it wasn’t for Michael, we would have either had to pay a lot more than we did, or would have had to settle for an inferior home. We cannot recommend Michael enough, but will continue to at every chance we get, and will definitely go to him for any future real estate needs we have.
