With 1 month left in my listing, unexpected repairs needed to be done for 1.5 weeks. No showing requests the past 4 weeks anyways. Richard said they would suspend my listing. Instead, they tried to trick me in signing an early termination addendum that would hook me into owing them $1,500 marketing fee. Liz informed me that I was required to show my condo within 24 hours upon showing requests, I've never heard of that and it doesn't state that in my MLS contract. The Showing Time app allows me to decline showing requests or reschedule appts. Repairs were finished and I showed my condo again before my listing expired. They never did professional measurements as offered, 2 different photographers showed up, but Liz snapped at me over the phone that the draftsman did come to my place. They also didn't do a virtual tour as offered. Their staging lady Leanne was awful to work with, she made snide remarks so specific to me that I knew that my realtors had been talking negatively behind my back. Then their staging lady gossiped to the photographer in front of me that Liz was in Vancouver on a girls trip, away from Rick - they laughed. During the 3 months of my listing, two 1 bedroom condos sold in my highrise tower at Westgate Park - neither of those condos had staging, they fire-saled. After I refused to extend the listing, they tried to get their staging items the same day, way before my listing ended. I only met Liz at the end when she came with Rick to pick up their staging items, she had been snide to me on the phone repeatedly. I had problems with Liz early on but didn't initially tell Richard cuz his assistant is his wife. After my listing expired in July, they used my personal photo of my bedroom in their August 2018 newsletter and made a snide remark about it as the Before pic "(Please, don't go to market looking like this, and don't let your friends, either!)". I told them that my boyfriend had bought that bedding for me and they have no right to use any of my personal photos in their marketing, and they were insulting both of us. Liz continued to be rude to me. They're so unprofessional and lack integrity.

Reply:    Maria, Richard and I welcome the opportunity to meet with you in person to discuss your grievances with us. We do not have control over what other people say or how they act, but as professionals with integrity we will account of our own actions if we have been in the wrong. It is unfortunate that given market conditions in Calgary 2 suites identical to yours, but on much higher floors in the building, sold for below your asking price. It would appear YOUR asking price was too high for the market, even with the free staging we provided and the free use of our staging accessories. I have an email from you where you acknowledge prior to using our services how hesitant you were to go to market given how your suite looked and you were appreciative of the use of our staging service & use of accessories. Three other identical suites in the building also did not sell during the time your suite was for sale. We did not charge you any fees, you did not pay us any money. We will make ourselves available for whatever day/time works for you to meet. You have our contact info - we look forward to speaking with you in person with our broker present, rather than behind a computer screen. Reply:    I'll let RECA finish their investigation. I have all emails and texts since June 14 to show that you two did not act professionally. Reply:    Richard & Liz Bergeron were reprimanded by RECA in 2019, after RECA investigated them. The letter of reprimand remains on their record as long as they're licensed in Alberta, and can be viewed on RECA.ca under Complaints & Discipline > Case Summaries, these 2 realtors were so unprofessional and lack integrity.
