This realtor was only interested in selling me a house with the highest list price, so she could collect the highest commission. We have bought and sold a few houses and she was by far the worse real estate experience. She didn’t even pay us a courtesy call after we moved in. She gave us inaccurate information on the property. She told us what to offer for the house without doing a market analysis on what houses were selling for in the neighborhood. She misinformed us on many features of the house, right down to telling us the water was on coop, but later we discovered it was the natural gas that was on a coop. We learned some big lessons from this realtor. Don’t trust. Do your homework, talk to the people in the neighbour, if the realtor tells you what you should offer for the house ask for a market analysis to back up the number.
