Working with Simmi Gaind was one of the most frustrating and costly experiences I’ve had in real estate. In my view, she did not provide the level of expertise, clarity, or accountability that clients should expect when making such important financial decisions. I was given advice that was not only incomplete but, in some cases, incorrect—leading to critical missteps. As a result, I ended up in an extremely difficult position: at risk of losing the property, my deposit, and facing potential legal consequences from the builder. These were outcomes that could have been avoided with proper guidance and care. I’ve chosen not to go into every detail publicly, as I’m now in the process of filing a formal complaint with the Real Estate Council of Ontario (RECO). I believe this situation raises serious concerns about professional conduct and ethics. I would urge others to be extremely cautious before working with Simmi Gaind. Real estate is likely the biggest financial decision and debt most people will ever take on. Sound advice and honest, qualified support should be the baseline—not the exception.
