Sivage never pushed a transaction and instead consistently presented data, comparable sales, risks, and alternative options so I could make an informed decision as the buyer. On multiple occasions I was interested in certain homes, and Sivage actually advised against moving forward after explaining potential issues, renovation implications, or long-term value concerns. Rather than pushing a deal, Sivage pointed out better opportunities and helped me avoid potential mistakes. Sivage is very analytical, which is not surprising given his CPA background. He has a strong understanding of construction quality, renovation feasibility, and realistic cost estimates, which made evaluating properties much easier. Since I was looking across many areas of Toronto, Sivage’s knowledge of neighbourhoods throughout the city has also been extremely valuable. Sivage also mentioned being well connected with contractors and made it clear he is available as a resource not just for the purchase itself but long after closing as well. What has also stood out is Sivage’s accessibility and work ethic. Sivage has spent multiple hours on calls walking through different scenarios, made himself available for last-minute showings, and regularly worked late to make sure we had a clear plan before making decisions. Sivage is also very energetic and very detailed, which I see as a major positive because it shows how seriously he takes representing his clients and how invested he is in making sure they make the right decision. We are currently under agreement and I plan to update this review again after closing, but based on my experience so far I would strongly recommend Sivage to anyone looking to buy a home in Toronto.
