What is Liberty Lane?

Liberty Lane Inc. is a charitable organization that is located in Fredericton, New Brunswick and serves the Greater Fredericton Area. We offer housing and support programs to individuals who have been affected by domestic violence. We also offer services to the community at large in the form of education and awareness initiatives. Through our Second Stage Housing Program, we provide independent living that is safe, affordable (subsidized) and includes on-site support. Liberty Lane residents are self-identified women (and their children) who have fled their homes due to any type of domestic violence. Through our Domestic Violence Outreach Program, we provide support to women, men, transgender folks and non-binary identifying individuals who have been affected by domestic violence and are residing out in the community. We offer both individual and group services, all of which are free and confidential within legal limits.​​ Some of our services extend to friends and family members of abused persons as well.
