I am sharing my experience in the hope that it helps others make an informed decision when choosing a real estate agent. I was initially referred to Anthony and his team by my legal counsel during an extremely high-conflict and stressful divorce. Given the circumstances, I was looking for an agent who would provide clear communication, sound guidance, transparency, and a strong sense of support throughout the sale of my home. Unfortunately, my experience fell well short of those expectations. Throughout the process, there were repeated communication issues and misunderstandings. Vendors would sometimes arrive late or not show up at all, there was ongoing confusion regarding showings and buyers’ visits, and I often felt there was a lack of urgency when matters required attention. Rather than feeling that my agent was proactively managing the process and advocating for my interests, I frequently felt that I was left to navigate issues myself. The situation surrounding buyers’ visits became particularly concerning. There was enough confusion and miscommunication that, at one point, I was threatened with legal action by the buyers of my home. Given the already significant stress I was experiencing personally, this was an extremely difficult and upsetting development. I had hoped that working with a professional real estate team would help alleviate some of the pressure during an already challenging period. Unfortunately, I found that the experience often added to my stress rather than reducing it. In my view, effective representation requires consistent communication, accountability, transparency, integrity, and empathy—particularly when a client is going through a difficult personal situation. Based on my experience, I did not feel that these qualities were consistently demonstrated. I believe it is important for prospective clients to understand that while every real estate transaction is different, my experience with Anthony and his team did not provide the level of communication, support, and professionalism I was expecting. - Chris
