Hey Calgary! I’m Brad Prather, a born-and-raised Calgarian who’s been proudly calling this city home for 51 years. I grew up here (moved from Moose Jaw when I was two), have lived all over the South East and South West, and I still get that same excitement watching our city grow and thrive.
I’ve been a licensed Realtor® for the past 8 years and I work with the Real Estate District. I love helping first-time buyers, growing families, and savvy sellers find or move on from their perfect properties—everything from condos to family homes in communities like Woodbine, Braeside, Evergreen, Chaparral, Sundance, and beyond. Clients say I’m organized, responsive, honest, and genuinely easy to talk to—because I treat every client like family.
Real estate is personal for me. I’m married to my incredible wife Michelle for 26 years, and together we’re raising our three beautiful daughters while forever missing our son Grayson—my best friend and car buddy—who earned his wings too soon. His spirit lives on every time I turn a wrench on his 2003 Mazdaspeed Protegé (getting it ready for DRIVEN 2025) or hop behind the wheel of his 2004 Dodge Dakota that I still drive daily.
When I’m not helping you buy or sell, you’ll find our family just enjoying everything this city offers. I’ve coached youth hockey, volunteered with the Calgary Flames organization for 25 years, survived more than my share of hot-wing challenges, and even served as IT Director and golf-tournament organizer at the kids’ school.
Life hasn’t always been easy—mental health is something I talk openly about because I believe real strength comes from being real. That same heart and resilience is what I bring to every real estate transaction: clear communication, proactive problem-solving, and a commitment to making the process smooth, enjoyable, and successful for you.
