First time home-buyers beware: learn from our nightmare experience.
Home showing ability, information and home/neighbourhood analysis were minimal with David. After 4 days of searching, we found a private sale independently of David and Cathy (found it, were shown it, and started negotiating with the sellers); David and Cathy insisted their commission was still owed and that they should process the private sale EVEN THOUGH THERE WAS NO BUYER'S AGREEMENT WITH THEM. Opportunities to explain that there was no such obligation (we questioned this repeatedly) were not taken and we remained in the dark. Believing them, we signed the contract and they 'negotiated' with the private sale owners, which meant negotiating their commission. They insisted after the fact that it be 2% despite not finding, showing or otherwise assisting with this home. In the end, we faced a situation where the negotiated counter offer was higher than the listing price, with no appliances(!) It was too late; we were locked into a contract and were over a barrel re the house we wanted. Ethics, duty of care, professional values and realty expertise were given a back seat to opportunism, personal profit, exploiting our ignorance, and zero value added.
Once a husband and wife business team, Cathy still works for Exit; David left shortly after the episode was brought to the attention of Exit Realty Fredericton management. They nevertheless refuse to reimburse us the commission and stand behind their agents' behaviour.

I just came across this 12+ year old review. What a pack of lies! These ungrateful people filed complaints with My Broker, the NBREA and Brookfield (the military relocation company). I submitted 28 pages of correspondence proving my side of the story and no action was taken on the complaints. I find it disgusting that this review has been circulated for 12+ years damaging my business without my knowledge of it's existence. David Calhoun

Addresses determine your ranking in each city or neighbourhood.
You only get to rank in a city or neighbourhood that you have a rating in.
Why do I need to edit addresses?
Occasionally clients will leave you a rating with the wrong address, or with the neighbourhood missing. To correct such problems and present your track record more accurately, we give you the ability to edit the address for all your ratings.
Will addresses be displayed on the rating?
No, ratings will only display the neighbourhood and city of each rating. We do store the street address associated with each rating. This data is kept private and may be used to verify transactions.
