WE bought a house listed by Dan Golfi - Remax. He used high pressure tactics to sell this property which meant we overpaid for a house that had a dangerous furnace. This was discovered when we did a walk through that said furnace would not turn on. Our Remax agent said she would take care of this. She texted on Thursday and got no reply so on Sunday she asked for a certified technician to inspect the furnace. Both Dan and the seller refused to co-operate, we even offered to pay for the inspection, again we where denied permission. Two hours after we took possession the Reliance technician inspected the furnace and condemned it due to five times the acceptable level of carbon monoxide exhaust levels. This did not happen overnight. I would never recommend Dan Golfi from a buyers perspective, his excuse was that the seller did not reveal the problem, however, he fully denied us the right to inspect this dangerous furnace as per his clients wishes. - Nick Haneke

I live out of town and recently needed to take care of my sister's estate.
