Our opinion of Jackie Sklar Unprofessional and unethical. We finally found the perfect house and put in an offer a few minutes after we saw it. Jackie Sklar did not want to consider our offer since it was presented the first day the house was on the market, and our deadline was too short. Since our first offer was not considered and had expired we were forced to write another early the next morning. Once again we're told our deadline was too short and we must change it from noon to 5 p.m. Just before noon Jackie contacted our agent, indicated that more offers were coming in, did we want to change our offer before others were considered. At this point we were angry, frustrated, felt coerced and pressured enough to change our offer to full price, no conditions, to purchase this house. Once again rewrote our offer. It was accepted but only if we either took over the alarm system contract ($50/month) or paid $1200 to buy it out! I must say at this point we had had enough and refused to be bullied and further manipulated - they backed down. This was the worst buying experience we have ever been through. You might want her as your selling agent if you have no morals, and hopefully you won’t encounter her when you’re trying to buy a property. - William David Clapham
