John Direnzo is an unprofessional, arrogant, and rude sales representative. He provides zero customer service, and quite honestly does not give off the impression that he cares about building a repoire or a relationship. My partner and I met John looking at spec homes being built with our realtor as we were interested in buying in the next 6-12months, and he took us to additional houses that we may be interested in. He stated to us multiple times he was the “builder” and could change colours cabinetry countertops etc. Which we later found out he was a sales rep. We became very interested in one of the homes that had been on the market for about 10 months. In front of our realtor he tried to hustle a deal to not include our realtor (so he would get more money) although we were not ready to make an offer for a few months. Our realtor asked that he keep in touch if he got any offers while we worked on listing our current home. 3 months later we were ready. We asked John to view the home again which he responded to our realtor “ARE THEY BRINGING AN OFFER THIS TIME.” John did not show rather he sent a different rep. We spent time to finalize the details we wanted in our offer. 5 days later when our realtor went to make the offer he stated it was conditionally sold. Never was this disclosed to us after 3 showings and consistent interest. John did not follow proper protocol, let alone even have the professionalism or courteous etiquette to let us know someone else was interested, when he was very well aware we were interested for months! I found this strange as we were willing to compete for the location. Exchanges with him were always terrible- he wrote in all CAPS as if he was yelling, he yelled over the phone, he was snarky, and lied many times. In person he was also inappropriate for example told a story about someone spraying for weeds and getting the neighbours marijuana plants and then the individual died which I found very offensive. I would not recommend buying or selling with John considering the many lovely agents in the st Thomas central Elgin area! Buying a home is a very fun, exciting milestone for many families and it is clear that John has zero regard for this. After now having customized and built a home we are very happy with, my partner and I felt it important that we share our experience and caution to others that consider using John for the residential needs. - Ashley

Often gets his facts wrong. Does nothing to fix problems he causes. Gets into shouting and screaming fits on the street. A total unprofessional. - Matt
