We honestly can't thank Julie enough for her support, professionalism, kindness and attentiveness as we sought to find our first rental home in Burlington. From our very first interaction with Julie over an online call we were impressed by her willingness to listen to our needs while also offering guidance and support on a process and location we were unfamiliar with. In moving to Canada from the UK it was important for us to have a trusted advisor we could rely on to find us a home appropriate for our needs and budget. Julie immediately set up some online alerts so we could review houses coming on to the market and then set up a great selection of viewings in our two subsequent in-person visits to the area. We finally secured our rental in the new year via an online interaction - Julie arranged a viewing within hours of us expressing our interest, took great care to video and photograph the house for us to review remotely, and then helped us navigate the application process with fantastic and regular communication throughout. We moved into our home in February and couldn't be happier with its location, layout and amenities. We couldn't have secured this wonderful home for our family without Julie's help and advice. During our first conversation, she took the time to listen to my thoughts about neighborhood, price range, and every other requirement I could think of. Julie was a fabulous agent. We met her as a result of her company's online reviews and we were not disappointed. We were upgrading to a detached home from a townhouse and had very particular requirements for our new home (within walking distance of our son's existing school, 3-4 bedrooms, finished basement, reasonable price). Julie set up some automated searches for us and every day we were emailed a few options that were new to look at. We filtered through those to the ones we were interested in and worked through her for the showings. She showed us 12-14 places before we found the one we thought we could make our forever home. Every single time we contacted Julie, she was able to set up a viewing within 24 hours, and that was working within our schedules. After each viewing she also took the time to review with us what we saw and what obstacles there might be to that home. Once we found a house we wanted to bid on, Julie worked with us to consider the strategies of an offer, and helped talk us down from some of the bigger numbers we were considering. Once we got serious about a house, she went through in great detail what the future value of the home could be, and worked with us to look at comparables both in the same house type in that neighbourhood and also other homes on that street. All in all, we were very very happy working with Julie and would reach out to her for any real estate transaction in our future or as a recommendation to any of our friends who were looking for a home in Burlington. She made the process fun and we really felt like we were on a journey together which we really appreciated. The last thing to mention about Julie is that she has a huge team behind her.
