I first came into contact with Kevin via Facebook marketplace/messenger because he had posted an ad for a rental house/apartment that I was interested in but unfortunately, once I had reached out to him the place was already gone/leased. Instead, Kevin actually offered to help me in my search and offered to show me places that I found of interest if needed so long as I wasn’t already working with another real estate agent. Happily, I took him up on his offer. I ended up finding a place that myself and my family liked so, Kevin helped us set up a viewing that exact same day and we went to go and see it and loved it! We told him later that day that we wanted to apply for it. Kevin help me and my family through the application process and we sent over all of the required information. Kevin even spoke to me on the phone at one point asking if I would be able to come up with first and last months rent by Monday as we were heading into an upcoming weekend which made me think that things sounded pretty positive in terms of chances of getting accepted as new tenants for this house. However, unfortunately after telling me that my application had been sent to the listing realtor and homeowners I never heard back from Kevin after that. I reached out a couple of times via text and got no response. Nothing. I completely understand that my family and I were not dream were the tenants to place into a rental and that we were only a lease transaction and not a house sale. Which meant that Kevin wouldn’t be making as much money through this however, if he was no longer interested in helping us or if we didn’t get approved for this house all he had to do was say so. Not responding to me at all? That is super unprofessional and the whole process was just very disappointing. I went through the application process and worked with Kevin for nothing. He wasted my time and my chances on a plane and looking at other places as my move out date for my previous place was coming quickly. From this experience I would tell people to maybe find another real estate agent as this one must only be interested in where the money is. - Sydney G
