A family of four, we are completely new to the Kitchener- Waterloo region with no prior connections there and already we are feeling so excited and comforted by our plans to move thanks to Kim. From the moment that we reached out, Kim responded right away and continued to be readily accessible at all times of the day throughout the week for any and all of our questions . She was wonderful at asking us the right questions to better understand our needs and aspirations for a new home. Kim made us feel like a priority. She provided us with many properties to review and when visiting in person, gave honest reflections as well as reservations on all aspects of the homes we were interested in. Kim is an excellent real estate agent with a wealth of knowledge and experience in the Kitchener/Waterloo area. At any given moment, we were able to reach her and discuss our home situation. She responded to all of our messages and phone calls immediately, and was a pleasure to work with. She provided us with detailed descriptions of various neighborhoods across the KW region, which greatly helped our decision to move. She helped us negotiate down the monthly rental cost of our home significantly (during a time where the rental market was hot!). She took on us on a tour of several properties in the evening with short notice. She made us feel as though we were her only clients, despite how busy she clearly was. She also managed to secure us a viewing of a highly sought-after property before the general public, which ended up being our home. I’ve decided to write a review about Kim for so many reasons. I had decided to switch from a prior agent I had used and found Kim through a Facebook post. Best decision ever. When I called, she answered, always. When I needed advice she had the answers or found the answers, always. She was prompt and did everything she promised, always. Even told me things I didn’t want to hear…always! She was extremely knowledgeable and had a great sense of humour. Integrity was second to none. She made the whole situation, which personally, wasn’t a good one, an enjoyable situation. It took us awhile to find the exact house but she kept in touch with me daily and sent me new homes to consider daily as well. When it came to purchasing she set me up with a mortgage broker from NS who was fantastic and had me approved immediately. She even referred a mover to me. I mean she is and was the whole package! Also, she had all the contacts of the tradespeople who were needed for the project (painting, replacing countertops, cleaning, plumbing, fixing stuff, staging, etc…), so we didn't have to spend time on that. Furthermore, Kim helped us with things that are not related to selling our townhouse (for example she found a job for my father-in-law :)), so she always does more than you expect from a typical agent.
