We knew this guy from church. Thought take good care if us. The opportunity to sell a home in Santa Barbara was more then he could handle and he took care of his financial interest by never letting our house hit the open market. He signed with us first, aggressively found buyer and promptly signed him. He scared us into selling well below appraisal (60k). He made a double commission off us and I suspect will earn an additional commission with buyer when he flips house. He didn't inform us that he was acting as a dual agent until after he got us to sign. Email us paperwork and made us pay for the printing of documents. We are selling home of deceased parent and don't live here. At time of offer, however, we were here in town cleaning out house. He couldn't be bothered to come to Santa Barbara from Lompoc "too busy". He suggested we leave sensitive paperwork on buyer front door, because he lived in close proximity to parents house. Thoroughly disgusted!
