Scott helped me purchase a home years ago and he was really awesome. He then helped me rent my home out and again the experience was great. However, when he assisted me with renting my home out again, his service went from excellent to poor. He was very non responsive and mostly communicates via text and e-mail. He rarely returns a phone call or picks the phone up when you contact him. If you do e-mail him, he will not answer all of your questions. His communication is brief and only leads to more questions. It took him days to call potential renters back and he pushed me to approve people which really didn't qualify for the home, which I didn't approve. A different agent actually found a renter for the home and after I paid him his commission, I cut all ties with him. I will never use him again and I will certainly never recommend him to someone. I caught him in several lies throughout the transaction and he also caused a great misunderstanding between me and my renter with his poor communication style. He also seems very distracted and overwhelmed. He was also ready to give up on renting my home after just a short time, simply because he didn't want to deal with it anymore. He is hypocritical and unprofessional. If he didn't want to assist me, he should have said so and then recommended me to a reliable realtor or property management company. He did me and himself a great disservice by continuing to provide me with poor service instead of referring me elsewhere. I have no doubt the house didn't rent immediately because he didn't want to deal with my renter and he really didn't want to deal with a rental home at all. It's very unfortunate that the experience ended on a negative note, as I had years of positive experience with him and referred business to him. Unless he became more focused again, improved his communication style, and increased his flexibility, I would not recommend him. However, I would still never personally work with him again.
