This move represented a major life transition for me, and I needed a real estate agent who understood both the business side of the process and the emotional weight that comes with it. Tyler Chin exceeded my expectations in every respect. Tyler was exceptionally prepared, professional, innovative, and thoughtful in his approach. His market research was thorough and well presented, and he provided enough information that I felt like an educated seller throughout the process. Tyler earned my trust very quickly and never let me down. What impressed me most was Tyler’s ability to listen carefully to my objectives and adapt his strategy accordingly. He did not apply a generic “one size fits all” marketing plan. He understood the realities of a very challenging buyer’s market and built a tailored strategy that made sense for my home, my neighbourhood, and my goals. As conditions evolved, he adjusted the plan intelligently and confidently. Tyler also assembled and coordinated an extremely professional team that handled every aspect of the preparation and marketing process. The photography, video, staging, and presentation materials were outstanding and showcased my home and neighbourhood beautifully without feeling artificial or overdone. I was genuinely proud of how my home was represented. I loved the pictures from the sky of my garden. During the preparation phase, Tyler handled issue after issue independently, resourcefully, and calmly. He respected my time, did not create unnecessary interruptions, and consistently demonstrated excellent judgement. He works exceptionally well under pressure, under tight timelines, and without supervision. Tyler understood that this was a significant and stressful life change for me. He never minimized that reality or dismissed my concerns. He was consistently respectful, patient, relatable, and supportive throughout the process. His sense of humour also helped enormously during some very stressful moments. He figured out quickly that I am a data person, and he was prepared to dive as deep into the data as I needed to get a comfort level, and he interpreted it concisely. The negotiation phase was handled masterfully. Only afterward did I fully appreciate how much work, strategy, and energy Tyler invested behind the scenes to secure such a successful outcome. Tyler’s presentation style is sharp, modern, highly organized, and very tech-forward, but what stands out even more is his judgement and maturity. Although he is relatively newer to the industry compared to many agents, he has mastered this business remarkably quickly, and it shows in every aspect of how he operates. Tyler’s team did an amazing job making sure the photos were just so. Sean Collins (another team member) actually cleaned the bugs out of a light that I didn’t get to before the photos were taken. While I staged the cottage they tweaked it so the photos would show in their best light. I have bought and sold many homes and an agent has not gone above and beyond like that before.
