Val listened to my requirements and diligently sought out homes for sale which addressed them. She keenly and frequently checked for all new listings and always kept me informed. My eventual purchase of the perfect home for me was as a result of Val spotting the sale by owner listing when it was a mere one hour old and boldly knocking on the door first thing in the morning to book a showing for that evening. The seller was a particularly difficult individual throughout negotiations but, undaunted, Val diplomatically and patiently dealt with him in her soft-spoken but determined manner, always keeping my interests as her priority. Her attention to detail was instrumental in noticing the seller's proposed Saturday closing date and having it changed to a weekday when lawyer offices, banks, etc. are open. New to Kingston and therefore having no contacts, Val recommended an inspector, a legal firm, and various contractors, all of whom provided excellent and timely service. Not one to rest on her laurels, Val followed up with me several times close to and after the closing date to ensure all was well.
