Unfortunately this agent chose to show my beautiful home to buyers who either couldn’t afford it or thought they could low-ball me as though I was desperate. My agent who is a person of integrity, called me and said he wouldn’t even present such an offer knowing it would offend me. I’m clearly not desperate nor am I interested in playing nonsensical games. After only three weeks listed I chose to take it off the market rather than waste my time and effort. My wife and I spent a great deal of time making sure the place was spotless for these people to see. I don’t need to sell, we just thought it might be nice to be closer to family. I’ve seen so many unethical agents whose only focus is the almighty commission not smart enough to realize there is two sides to every sale and real people involved. Although agents like Warren might want to please his buyers with terrible offers on their behalf, he needs to realize he is totally offending the sellers. Word of mouth goes a long way. At least my agent warned Warren it wouldn’t go over to well. Actions like this hurts an agents reputation and fast. If you want an agent who doesn’t care what people think, perhaps he’s your guy. - Mike Leslie
