Amazing Service with Art and Michelle! We purchased a property remotely out of province. Art used many different mediums of communication to make the transaction go smoothly. I went into this home selling/buying process not knowing what to expect! I had met with a few realtors prior to meeting with Art and right after meeting with him, I was confident I was making the right decision. I had a better idea of how the process was going to go and was eager to get into it. I put my house on the market following a few of his recommendations and I was lucky that it sold within a couple of months in a very unpredictable market. Whenever I had a question, Art had an answer. After my house was sold, came the fun part of finding me a new home! We went to a few open listings, and ultimately, I ended up deciding to build a new home. What was available on the market wasn’t quite what I wanted and by building a new home I could get what I wanted and still fit my budget and Art was instrumental in steering me in that direction. Here are the stats everyone will want to know first - In summer of 2017, we received an offer within 3 days of listing, which was at 99% of our asking price! We also had a lot of interest in the house beyond this offer, and Art continued to drum up interest regardless of receiving a solid offer. He worked hard behind the scenes to get back-ups just in case. We were referred to Art by a good friend and it was a great decision we’re thrilled with, and have been referring him to others every since. He has a great team of other realtors and a lovely assistant Michelle who has great real estate experience and knowledge as well, in fact I think she might also have some real estate certification. The Art Lee team uses technology and modern methods, modern marketing that speaks to the right crowds - after all, folks coming into the market now are those who have grown up with technology and are savvy to these things, relying on technology in their daily lives and Art and his team understands this “new” buyer, and the cross section of all types wanting to purchase, now. He has his ear to the ground with what’s happening in real estate, market trends, and so on, and showed us he’s got a good intuition. Art is in the right business for sure. He also uses social media which was really effective for us, and he keeps in touch often with all the details, no matter where you are, letting us know he was always hard at work for us. It’s hard to think he had time for anyone else, it seemed he was working around the clock on our file. It should be noted we were out of province for the whole thing so his constant communication and updates on everything were very important to us! Everything about Art’s work is well thought out. His advice, his contacts, everything. We got the right advice about what we could and should be doing to help sell our home, absolutely gorgeous photos, a referral to an AMAZING home stager, we LOVED the feature that we could be informed of showings automatically via text, log in and see details, we loved the signs and note cards with his sharp modern fonts, nothing about it was dated and made it really attractive to the majority of buyers. Art even had a couple tips and tricks up his sleeve about home maintenance, and other things we didn’t know, a notable example was when he fixied something in literally 30 seconds with hands for free that we thought we’d have to call a flooring expert to fix - every one knows fixing a spot on a floor is not cheap. He’s got skills! Not to be overlooked, were Art’s negotiating skills… During this phase of selling that can often be stressful, he was fantastic. He knows how to phrase what needs to be said the right way, he knows how to adapt to each situation, considering how to act based on all factors - even the time of day. Art also was great at gently talking us from making other potentially damaging decisions. He understands that in real estate things can be emotional. He also knows how to handle any hiccups in transactions very expertly. For us as sellers, that could have bene a factor but he helped us with that, he obviously knows his way around all aspects of the biggest purchase decision in your life. He will also explain everything to you very well. He really is an expert at this, and continues to get better with each transaction. Further he is a decent and smart human being, professional and yet friendly. We hold Art and his team in high esteem. Bottom line, we truly could sense that Art actually does want wants best for you in the long term. We could see he worked VERY hard for us, which paid off for both of us. We did not want a house sitting in this crazy market that was not on our side, as sellers. Working with Art was easy from our point of view and went by so fast - on market and 3 days later, an offer in hand thanks to taking all of his suggestions and going with his contacts.
