How do addresses work?
Addresses determine your ranking in each city or neighbourhood.
You only get to rank in a city or neighbourhood that you have a rating in.
Why do I need to edit addresses?
Occasionally clients will leave you a rating with the wrong address, or with the neighbourhood missing. To correct such problems and present your track record more accurately, we give you the ability to edit the address for all your ratings.
Will addresses be displayed on the rating?
No, ratings will only display the neighbourhood and city of each rating. We do store the street address associated with each rating. This data is kept private and may be used to verify transactions.
A mutual acquaintance of Kevin Wilcox and myself put me in contact with Kevin for purposes of his acting as my agent to buy and sell vacant lots in Monroe County, PA, in the Poconos. Kevin was very receptive, and he said that he and his two partners would be very interested in assessing possible purchases for me, and helping me sell them. The two partners were Carl Wlcox and Bobby Joe Engle, both of Pinnacle Real Estate and Property Management, Wyoming, PA. Eventually I think Kevin, a young man recently certified as an agent, felt he was out of his league, and he mostly left the dialog to Carl and Bobby Joe. I had two projects I wanted to pursue with them initially. One was to give them seven properties—four units taking into account contiguity—to sell in Emerald Lake Assoc, Long Pond. The other—the subject of this review-- was for them to help me assess several properties that would be coming up at an auction on February 11. I always do things with plenty of time, and they agreed to do this a good month in advance. I would bring it up every few days, so they would remember the date by which I needed to have their assessment of the various properties. As late as February 2 I reminded them that they needed to find someone to go out to the properties to check them out, and I made clear I would pay for the service. Bobby Joe Engle wrote me back assuring me they would take care of this service. To make a long story short, I never heard back from them, either before the sale or after it. Fully knowing I depended on them, they simply ghosted me. For a couple of months we had been holding discussions and they kept saying they were interested in working with me. And they simply vanished on me. I was left going into the sale on my own. I have emails that support everything I am saying. It is disgraceful. I kept saying to them that I could give them as much business or as little as they wanted. They kept insisting they wanted it all. Several times I asked them to assure me that they were going to have the lots checked. I don’t know how good they are as agents, but they have no sense of professional ethics. It is an abomination to lead someone on and then just vanish on her at a crucial moment. - Sylvia Castellanos
