Hi, it's nice to virtually meet you!
I'm Colleen Ferguson, proudly serving clients throughout Victoria and Vancouver Island.
With more than 35 years of experience in real estate, I've had the privilege of building a diverse career that has taken me across Canada and the United States. I've worked alongside some of the industry's top builders on new development projects in Washington, Nevada, Florida, Surrey, Langley, Victoria, Esquimalt, and Langford. These experiences have given me a broad perspective and deep understanding of real estate markets, construction, and client service.
In 2009, I returned to Canada during the U.S. housing market crash. That same year, I experienced one of the greatest blessings of my life—becoming a mother at the age of 44. My daughter was born on Mother's Day, fulfilling a lifelong dream and reminding me that it's never too late to pursue what matters most. It's a lesson I carry with me every day: "NEVER GIVE UP ON YOUR DREAMS"
Returning to Canadian real estate was both exciting and humbling. Although I had decades of experience, I embraced the challenge of learning Canada's contracts, regulations, and financing systems from the ground up. Throughout my career, I've successfully rebuilt my business several times, adapting to new markets and changing circumstances with determination and resilience.
After re-establishing my career in Vancouver and the Fraser Valley, my daughter and I made the move to Victoria in 2018 to be closer to family. Once again, I embraced the opportunity to reinvent myself, and today I'm grateful to call Vancouver Island home.
