I was born and raised in a small-town Northern Ontario called Manitouwadge.Google it I always wanted to join the Army and serve this country. It was a desire founded to my core. So at the age of 18, I began my service in the Canadian Armed Forces. During my long career, I’ve moved many times over vast distances. The process was always stressful, with a short timeline to get everything done. Over the span of 30 years, I’ve dealt with many realtors. While many were great, some were not. I often only had 7 days to fly/drive to my new location, find a home and complete all the logistics before heading back. As you can imagine, 7 days isn’t much time to familiarize yourself with an area, choose a good neighbourhood and buy a place. It’s a lot to take on in a really short period of time. I needed a real estate agent that would dedicate their efforts to my needs for that week. We had to work as a team to have a successful house-hunting trip, as we call it. This didn’t always happen and so I was often in the lurch. My vast experience prepared me a little but I couldn’t do it on my own. I had to rely on my Realtor to guide and advise me. Some agents treated me as an “in-the-bag” sale since I didn’t have a choice in the matter. If they didn’t do their due diligence and research before I arrived, it was left to me to squeeze it in somehow. This ate up valuable time and left me feeling uncared for. I needed all that leg work and research done before I arrived. This would help me put my limited time to good use so I could make the best and most informed decision on purchasing a home. This also needed to be coordinated with the sale of a home in my current location. Needless to say, sometimes the stress level was more than desired during these moves. During my final move, my real estate agent mentioned in passing that I would do well as an agent. She found me to be personable and solution based. It never really stuck with me until I saw the ad that day for real estate agents. When I finally retired at age 48, choosing Moncton as my forever home was easy. We were posted here for 7 years and loved the community and atmosphere. At first, I decided that working in the security field would keep me satisfied and busy enough. But I found myself one morning on a graveyard shift at 2 am thinking to myself. “Is this now my life?” I thought back to the comment about becoming an agent and the ad I had seen. I finally decided that I wanted to be my own boss. To have a business in this industry. One that made a difference in the lives of people transitioning across the country. I realized that I understood the challenges and unique aspects of their situations. I knew that I could create a much easier and more enjoyable experience for them because I’d been through it myself so many times. Utilizing my vast experience in long-distance moves. Also armed with an intimate knowledge of the area to make the entire process simple for you. Therefore, I’ve designed systems equal to none. My goal is to ensure a successful long relocation move, keeping in mind how important it is to have all the right information for your decision. Incorporating features such as virtual tours of homes and neighbourhoods of your choice so you can start preparing well ahead of time. My mission is to cater to your needs and concerns in a new place you may have never visited. Together we will ensure that no stone is left unturned in your journey.

Did a out of province purchase. David kept me advised of homes as they became available. Sent David a list of homes we were interested in. When I was eventually able to come out to Moncton he had already prepared an office presentation of the homes we were interested and went over their pros and cons. As an out of province buyer with frankly no knowledge of the area, we knew we would need the right agent. I'll also be honest and say we were those buyers with a long list of wants and needs and also were not really willing to bend on what we wanted. Not to mention we had little time in which to find a house that fit our very specific list. I didn’t have all that much confidence that we would be able to find it all. However we met David Sabados! David was outstanding! I’ve never worked with a more dedicated agent (and one willing to put up with the constant barrage of questions via email and text), he truly went above and beyond what was required and I applaud him for that. Not many people have that level of patience. So even though we were "that type of client" he always made us feel top priority and always answered all our questions and took us to see every property we wanted to see, he even found ones we didn't even know about. He always was very detailed and organized and took the time to point out all the pros and cons of each house and neighbourhood. As buyers from Ontario who on a whim decided to sell our house and pick up and move out East to a province and city we had never even been too…. Well, we had a tall order to say the least. David fulfilled our wish list and helped us find our dream house. The house that was the "this is it” house. We instantly fell in love; the house, the area, the possibilities. This is the house we were making the move of 1628.2 kilometres for. My partner and I whole heartedly recommend David Sabados as the only agent to work with. In a matter of days he felt like a friend and that was unexpected. He took everything we wanted into account and delivered us our dream. That is something very few can do. He managed to deliver the whole list and more. I fell like we are forever indebted to him for making this whole thing happen and really when it comes down to it, he did it all in two days! We were looking to move east from Ontario. Contacted 5 agents in Nova Scotia and New Brunswick. One happened to be David Sabados who turned out to be more helpful then the others combined. No pressure lots of advice and information on the different options available to our retirement budget.. We were nervous of buying online but we felt a connection with David after a couple good conversations on different areas and the surrounding amenities... We did Zoom calls and viewings and felt at ease while dealing with David which we were nervous about at the start till we made the big step and bought online. No regrets.
