Reply: Hi Patrick, I don't know who you are. I have spent a moment contemplating your review and feedback and I want to take a moment to clarify that you and I have never had any interactions, nor are you a client of mine, nor have we ever exchanged any words. By that account your review is a misrepresentation in and of itself. However that set aside, I believe your realtor showed you a property that I have available for lease. I should clarify, in my interactions with her since yesterday that I was met with great inexperience, a high level of incompetence, and highly unprofessional conduct. I understand that there are requirements for specific and current documentation in order to complete a preliminary vetting process as there is with most landlords. As a result of your realtor's lack of experience, she did not convey the exact specified required documents, nor did she review what you provided to her prior to submission to us as most all of the documents were out of date. The documentation requirements are clearly posted in the MLS listing for her to review, she still asked us to text her a list of the required documents on two separate occasions, which we obliged. We explained all of our reasons for the requirements out of care and courtesy. However, your realtor expressed that this was too much work for her, and found it daunting to communicate our requirements to you in fear that she might upset you. This ultimately caused a breakdown in communication and ultimately put us in a position to terminate any further negotiations with her. Your frustrations are misplaced with me, as it is up to your realtor to assemble the exact required package that is requested of her when putting forward a profile for review when leasing a property. Your realtor failed at this task, even after multiple opportunities were provided. You sounded like a hopeful candidate to us, and we actually looked forward to a meeting with you. I'm sorry that your realtor ruined that opportunity. Make no mistake, you lost this property due to the sheer incompetence of your realtor who did not want to put in the leg work. Perhaps finding a realtor who best represents your interests with a high level of competence and professionalism is best. Always remember that there are two sides to every discussion, especially a discussion that you are not privy to, perhaps your realtor was not so forthcoming about the contents of our conversation on the telephone earlier this afternoon and how poorly she handled everything.
