It’s been about 25 years since we last bought or sold a house. In today’s complicated real estate market we felt we needed an agent that had held our interests over anything else. We wanted someone to work through the process with least possible work on our part. We were more concerned about finding a new home at a reasonable price to enjoy our retirement in. In this area where we live we get quite a few agents coming to our door offering their services. This is how we met Kathryn Docherty. Right away, from the first conversation we had, she made it feel it was all about us. Honestly, it was quite refreshing. It wasn’t a hard sell or the pressure or is it urgency that some make it when they are making their pitch. Kathryn simply listened to what we were saying. She had all the time in the world for us and was very sincere. It just didn’t seem like it was all about the sale. Once we agreed to work together Kathryn and her team ( shout out to Joe and Venessa) presented a plan that was well thought out and was easily tweaked to accommodate our lives. I have rarely met a person who is so passionate about what they do. Through the entire complicated process our input was minimal but everything was done to accommodate us with our interests being the priority. We were also in the market for the new home and once again Kathryn did what ever was necessary to make it as easy as it could be for us. When we found the home we wanted she made it happen with minimal work on our part. I can tell you it was a tremendous amount of work to get it done on her part though. As a matter of fact between the sale of this house, buying the new home and this client being tough to please she excelled. We could go on and on, but what matters when it’s all said and done is the experience was better than we could have imagined. We received a very fair amount for our home and was well over the price of the homes being sold in our area. Our new home is exactly what we were looking for and at a reasonable price to boot.
