I should start from the beginning. Rie has been our realtor since we moved to Kamloops. My wife and I met her at my sister-in-law's house. We expressed to Rie our desire to buy a property. She listened to our needs and our economic capabilities for purchasing a property. We were not experienced in this real estate world and we trusted Rie so much that we closed our eyes and waited for her to show us properties. She called us for a showing of this fantastic townhouse, we loved it and bought it. The process was so smooth with Rie on this first purchase. We were so happy with this townhouse. After a couple of years of living in the townhouse, we started to search for a detached house. My two boys were growing and we needed to start planning for the future. Rie helped us in this new search for two years. The reasons for this long search were the crazy real estate market conditions during the COVID era and also the purchasing strategies/options me and my wife had in mind. Rie understood our needs and provided trustful advice in the search for a new house. And let me tell you, what a lot of patience Rie has!! We booked lots of viewings and made a couple of offers which we collapsed later. Sometimes we felt embarrassed when calling Rie for another showing, but she always told us, "Don't worry, this is my job and you will find the house you want". This process was not as smooth as when we bought the townhouse. My wife and I needed to find a house that clicked the majority of the boxes we had. And finally, after these two long years, we found and bought the house we wanted!
