Our agent was punctual and generally easy to reach, which we appreciated. However, there were several concerns that affected our overall experience. Not including being mislead to what our sale price would be approximately, a big one to start with, was that we weren’t made aware of an offer until the day after it came in. This was disappointing and severely impacted the sale of our home considering it left us with significantly less time to respond, and on a holiday. At times, the communication style felt a bit dismissive, and we didn’t always feel comfortable asking questions. While there were many issues in regards to the closing of our purchase, a key issue has now been unresolved for almost four weeks, and rather than addressing it directly, the agent is now suggesting it was the responsibility of a colleague — which didn’t inspire much confidence. While there were some positives throughout the experience, we had much higher hopes considering the agent was a long term family friend. At this point, we are just looking for some acknowledgement and ownership so that we can all move forward, in hopes future clients have a more positive experience. - Adam and Jocelyn
