As if the prospect of selling a house isn’t scary enough, add living outside of the province. It was utterly overwhelming until we teamed up with Jeff. Our nightmare turned into the most perfect dream! From providing sound advice about selling price to coordinating contractors for repairs – we were in awe of the work Jeff and his team offered. His teammate Quentin was an all star when it came to suggesting touch ups, picking perfect stagging and respecting our budget and preferences. We received frequent updates and photos of progress, and Quetin was a fantastic sport when my mom stopped by unannounced. In this day and age, it is not hard to feel distrustful and suspicious, as if everyone has a hidden agenda. At no point did we feel that with Jeff or his team. Our home-selling experience was a truly unique one, as we were leaving Canada and moving to Australia --- in our 70's! Knowledge of the CURRENT market was essential to our listing it at a price that would help it to sell relatively quickly --- not be here till next spring! Jeff was able to explain what the house should be listed at, and why (with RECENT sales, not just favorable ones from a few years ago!), so the outcome could be a combination of the best price possible (in the current market) along with the best timing. In addition to knowing the market, Jeff has a team of people behind him and many value-added services that are all included in the standard real estate fee. They included pre-inspection, very extensive staging (with the talented and friendly Quinton!), who also helped us get rid of stuff not even Vinnie's or Habitat for Humanity wanted. The Team answered questions or concerns promptly throughout all the stages --- easing our way through the pre-sale process, the many showings, and then working carefully with us through our first offer (with NO conditions! Truly a Godsend!). We got a sale in 2 weeks and were able to book our tickets to our new home. Was it stressful? Of course! But they helped us every inch of the way, including promising removal of any last-minute items if needed. It was their values we appreciated the most. Openness and honesty, integrity (doing what you say you'll do), and kindness from EVERY member of Jeff's team. I think a prolonged selling process might have killed us with the stress of it, considering our age and the impact of such a major move, carrying only suitcases to the other side of the world!
