We used Jen to both sell our first home and also to help us purchase our forever home. It was important to get us into a certain school district, and a lot of the homes we looked at were on the fringe of being within the correct district but Jen never wasted any of our time. She called the schools (their school locator wasn’t functioning while we were searching) and got answers we needed quickly. On the sale side, she truly knows what she is doing. She gave us a strategy and price (that was actually higher than an appraisal we had been given) and sold it in a matter of 3-4 days. She has continued to follow up with us; yummy pizza on moving day, birthday cards, and regular check-ins or maintenance reminders. She truly cares about her clients and always made us feel like we were her only clients. While we have no intention of selling our home in the foreseeable future, when we do we sure hope Jen or her team are still working. One of the most significant challenges for me is finding a good school for my son who has autism. He does not respond well to chaos and noise and prefers open spaces where she can run. Before I started the process of selling, I spoke to several colleagues and Jenn’s name kept popping up. I called Jenn’s office and I was immediately called right back. I told her what I wanted and informed her that I did not have the time or resources to deal with a lot. In fact, we had planned to put the house on the market, leave for vacation, and come back with the hope that the majority of the showings would be done already. Jenn advised us on how to set up a offer date so that we didn’t have to worry about the stress of offers coming in while we were away. She also checked on the home for us several times throughout the week to alleviate my stress. We came back and immediately received two offers, which was great news and things finalized quickly. I have not had good experiences with house hunting because I am quite impatient and I rarely find a realtor who can handle my outlook. I get bored and irritated quite quickly especially when I see that we are not communicating. That is why I was pleasantly surprised when I met Jen and saw how she communicated. She was clear, took the time to listen, and prepared herself before presenting any options. There was no wasted time and energy and her showings were always productive. I have been disappointed before, and I called the office with trepidation in hopes that they could recommend someone that was capable of handling my demands. Buying a house is not really an enjoyable experience mainly because there are many realtors whose only intention is to make money. I am turned off by greed and that makes me very picky. When I met Jen, I thought she would be a typical realtor. However, I quickly noticed that she was different.
