I met Cholak as the listing agent for a property I purchased. He represented sellers who presented me with a falsified document about work that was supposedly done on the house, but when I contacted the contractor they confirmed the work had not been done, they had only given them an estimate - the document was altered and I was given a bad photocopy. Too long a story to go into here but I have no doubt he was aware of their deceit. Everything about the guy says sleaze. He is a shameless self-promoter, and once claimed he was Edmonton's top realtor. Hard to imagine that was true, but I can say that one of his promos was a plastic fly swatter that says "Norm Cholak swats the competition." I crossed this out and wrote "Norm Cholak attracts flies." A sense of humour helps as these characters generally get away with a lot of fly-attracting nonsense. - Cindy

Norm was awesome, He told us we wouldn't get what we wanted, and priced it according to what he thought was appropriate. He got us 98% of the listing price!! I would definately deal with him again.

Scam Artist.

We were going to list with him when he told us our home was worth 40k less than we thought. We listed privately on www.propertyguys.com and sold for the price we wanted to list at and he refused. He's a jerk and was looking for a quick sale. Would not recommend.
