Worked with Shahnam Moghaddam during a business purchase and was very disappointed with the level of guidance, involvement, and support provided. For a transaction of this importance, we expected professional expertise and hands-on support, but had to rely heavily on our own advisors throughout the process. Sharing this experience so future buyers understand the importance of having independent representation and asking detailed questions before moving forward. Shahnam, this response reinforces the exact concern highlighted in my review: poor communication throughout the transaction. The cash-back discussion was raised at the very beginning of our relationship, and it was never communicated that your office had a policy requiring a written structure or that this would not be possible. If this was the position, there were multiple opportunities to clarify it before closing. Instead, the conversation was repeatedly redirected. This was consistent with the overall experience, including limited support during negotiations, lack of attention to detail, and repeated errors in documentation, including the business address being entered incorrectly twice on a legal document and requiring correction. We relied on you as our broker to provide guidance and transparency throughout the process. Learning about these limitations only after closing further demonstrates the communication issues we experienced. I appreciate you clarifying your position publicly, as it allows future buyers to make their own informed decision regarding the level of support and communication they expect from a business broker. - Ramtin Rahbar
