My wife and I worked with Tracy to find our new home when we decided to make the move from Vancouver back to Victoria. Our requirements were ones that were very hard to quantify in a simple real estate website search. We had a reasonably high budget and weren't set on any one area of the CRD, we just really wanted a place that felt "special" and was something we could never dream of affording in Vancouver. Whether it was a cool character home right near Dallas road, a tree-lined custom executive home with vaulted ceilings in Broadmead, a waterfront place on the gorge waterway, or large lot in Saanichton with a great view. Tracy did a great job of helping us find a bunch of places that helped us capture that vibe and was able to accommodate our limited schedule to come do viewings when we would take the ferry over on the weekend (often on short notice). Ultimately, Tracy found a place (that my wife and I initially weren't really interested in based on the listing photos), and she insisted we should check it out because she thought we might be surprised how much we liked it. She was right, we LOVED it and bought it. Already we were happy with Tracy just based on the "finding a place" experience, but what I am way more thankful for was the service she provided for us outside of that. Having only ever bought condos in Vancouver before, her detailed knowledge of bylaws, what scans need to happen, who to call for documents, arranging inspections, etc were ultimately what made the buying experience so much less stressful. What could have been a very difficult buying process while living in Vancouver during covid times, ended up being a breeze that rarely required me to do more than make a few phone calls.
