Laurie Appleton is the ideal realtor. She’s resourceful, knowledgeable, talented, (See more ) professional, and empathetic. After 23 years in his James Bay condo (215-405 Quebec Street) my 99 year old father-in-law was moving across the province to live with us. Between taking care of him and preparing the condo for listing I felt overwhelmed. I wished for a super realtor who would take over and do what needed to be done. And my wish was answered with Laurie Appleton. Laurie came over the same day we called her (within an hour). She talked with me and my father-in -law. She understood our situation and was very empathetic. She told me to focus on my dad and leave the rest to her. I sensed that she was genuine and I placed myself in her capable hands. Laurie didn’t disappoint. My father-in-law was very impressed with her. He said “that woman is a great sales-lady!” I was able to put everything else aside and focus on my father-in-law. We left a cozy but dated condo and flew across the province. After only a couple of days we saw the listing. Laurie had staged the condo beautifully. We barely recognized it. My father-in-law said buyers would have a bidding war over it. I thought so too. And that’s exactly how it went. It sold the very first day it was listed. and for more than the listing price! Laurie Appleton is my new hero! I totally recommend her if you’re buying or selling your home. Laurie staged our condo beautifully; it never looked better. As a result of her hard work it sold quickly and for a record-setting price in its building. Couldn't ask for a better result -- or a better realtor. I recommend Laurie very highly!
