Born and raised in Vancouver to parents from Trinidad, Ricardo has deep roots in the city and a genuine appreciation for the diversity, neighbourhoods and communities that make Greater Vancouver such a unique place to call home.
What truly distinguishes Ricardo is the experience he creates for his clients. Ricardo is also known for being resourceful and exceptionally well connected. When it comes time to negotiate, Ricardo combines preparation, strategy and a deep understanding of the Greater Vancouver real estate market to advocate strongly for his clients. Before building his career in real estate, Ricardo spent more than a decade working in the healthcare industry. That experience helped shape his ability to listen, understand people's individual needs and build relationships based on trust—qualities that continue to influence the way he serves his real estate clients today.
Ricardo's experience in real estate began long before becoming a Realtor. He has been actively involved in real estate investing since 2011, initially entering the industry through Airbnb and furnished rentals. Over the years, his investment experience has expanded across a diverse range of strategies, including fix-and-flips, long-term buy-and-hold properties, furnished and short-term rentals, storage investments, Agreements for Sale, bridge financing and private lending. He has also invested in real estate both in Canada and internationally.
After years of firsthand experience as an investor, Ricardo became a licensed Realtor in 2018, turning his passion for real estate into a career helping others buy, sell and invest. Having experienced real estate from multiple perspectives—as a homeowner, investor, lender and Realtor—Ricardo brings a practical, investment-minded approach to his clients. He understands that real estate isn't simply about buying or selling a property; for many clients, it's an important part of creating financial security and building long-term wealth.
Health and fitness remain an important part of Ricardo's life, and he maintains a strong focus on staying active, healthy and continually challenging himself. Outside of real estate, he has a passion for travelling and experiencing different cultures around the world. He also loves salsa dancing and enjoys the energy, connection and community that come with it.
