Working with Alex was such a pleasure! We were fairly new to Victoria and he came highly recommended by a family friend. Note we have bought & sold 26 houses(13 moves). We have had a range of agents, Alex is top tier. Why? Under promises, over delivers. Sounds obvious, not always true HE RETURNS HIS PHONE CALLS, He listens, non judgemental, gives you the downsides of a property/area not just features/benefits. Downside, he’s young, for an older demographic like us, we might tend to dismiss a young agent, but in this case don’t. He was well brought up & once you work with him he will be your last agent. One more thing people sometimes overlook, & keep this in mind is the agents ability to negotiate with other agent at the negotiating stage. Here he shines once more. Wow, I couldn't have been happier with my decision to work with Alex. From the beginning, Alex was super professional and clearly demonstrated his commitment to his craft. He's got experience from the building materials side of real estate which ended up coming in very handy when we were touring condo buildings as he was able to actually explain how the buildings are built and what to look for when you're reviewing strata docs to see if something is a good buy or not. He also knew Victoria's real estate market super well (both the macro trends and the micro trends). Alex is very thorough and strikes the perfect balance in giving you his perspective and recommendation but ultimately leaving you completing in control to make an informed decision that's right for you. It's perfect because we didn't waste any time and were able to navigate the home search in a way that not only felt efficient but really wound us up finding the perfect place - Alex unequivocally puts his clients needs first over absolutely anything (which was especially evident when he went up to bat for us in some last minute negotiations during hours leading up to our offer and removing subjects - Alex was a pro at helping us navigate this and can't think of anybody who would have done a better job advocating for us and ultimately getting us very favourable terms in the negotiation!)
