Shannon was our agent to sell our townhome and buy our single family home. Because of our neighborhood and budget, the whole process took a long time. Moving from California to Vancouver Island is no easy feat. We had the unique opportunity to be connected with Shannon through another real estate agent in Comox. We had been chatting with him for about a year and when we decided to look closer to Victoria he didn’t hesitate to connect us with Shannon. During our island house hunt we also had an unfortunate accident that laid one of us up in the hospital for weeks. With everything turned upside down in mid house hunt and only a couple of days to look before heading back to the US, we contacted Shannon to see what we could look at while still in Victoria. Shannon was amazing. Available literally on the spot and flexible to everything we needed. We had a list of homes we had targeted and she was able to get us into view them with one day notice. Her enthusiasm is contagious and she spent a lot of time explaining not only details of each house but of the area and what we could expect with living on the island. When we found our home we sprang into action and I literally made the deal at the airport while I was commuting back to California. It was such an easy process and once Shannon took over it was just a matter of sitting back while she made sure everything was taken care of. That is exactly what we needed. Her attention to detail was integral to us. We were familiar with the US realtor market but the Canadian market was very different. She was patient but always kept us on track and when we finally walked into our new home she had graciously left us a wonderful gift basket with a refreshing bottle of wine and other fun goodies. It was a welcoming experience to our new life and she even offered to come by and help us make decorating decisions… lucky for us she studied design also.
