This is the fifth house I have sold over the past 25 years; I wanted this experience to be a lot different than one’s I have experienced. I knew how I wanted this time to be; but who to go with. The answer was simple, interview the candidate’s and cover the whole range of talent and commissions. I interviewed agents that were offering from 3% to ones that wanted five, in total five agents from five different agencies. Covering all the same questions with each agent; as well as offering up my expectations from this arrangement.
