I’m currently working with Vanny Costa. I’m a first time home buyer and my mortgage person recommended her to me. I really like her! She is smart and easy going, she is probably super busy but I never feel rushed by her. I was working with another agent before, but I always felt rushed by that person and Vanny is the opposite. She always makes it seem like we are buying a house together, she looks at everything so critically, so different from the other agent. Maybe she will help me pay for the mortgage too! lol. We found Vanny on Facebook. She has a very active social media presence, and her posts are informative and also very funny. We reached out to her and she took us out for coffee, and the rest is history! She listed our house, sold it quickly and found us our forever home. She is not your typical agent. Vanny was referred to me through a mutual friend. I moved out west, and needed to sell my home in Thunder Bay. I reached out to her via email, and within 4 minutes she wrote me back, we booked a FaceTime meeting, and Vanny had my house on the market the next day, and sold within 5 days. There are so many realtors in Thunder Bay, and I have worked with over a dozen of them in the last 40 years, hands down, I would work with Vanny every time moving forward. I was clueless when I started thinking about buying a house. I picked Vanny because she looked like someone that I would get along with. I texted her and we met for beers. I was nervous but as soon as I saw her walk through the door, she smiled and I knew she was cool. She took care of everything, from start to finish. Like I said I was clueless, and Vanny went slowly with me and made sure I understood. I will recommend her to all my buddies. She sold our home (over asking), and found us our new home. Letting go of our family home was a very emotional experience, it was originally my parents place, Vanny was sensitive to that and helped us cope from the onset and throughout. Excellent young lady. Very well spoken, experienced, detail oriented. She is extremely professional and business minded, but also humorous. I was impressed. We met Vanny at a baseball, she was very approachable from the onset, friendly and funny. She listened to our needs and found us exactly what we were looking for. She always got back to us quickly, and showed us houses right away, even though we knew house busy she was. She always made time for us, and we never felt pressured. She made everything run smoothly. Most agents just want to show you a house, we often forgot that she was getting paid for helping us as her only focus was us. We did found a house we liked, but after Vanny voiced her concerns (she pointed out problems in the basement, and in the attic. She actually went in the attic!!), we decided not to buy it, it was a lemon. She is honest and extremely knowledgeable about the inner workings of a house, we were so impressed!!
