Where do I begin? The Just Shout Wilma Team is unlike any other. The level of care, expertise, guidance, and support we received from purchasing and selling our home was above and beyond we could have imagined. COVID couldn’t get them down, and it didn’t. It all started when we started house hunting with Kirk. He gave us the best advice to look at homes to give us a sense of what we ‘do’ and ‘don’t’ want for our next house. This allowed us to get our feet wet, so to speak. After much looking, it was then at our next appointment that Wilma accompanied us, that we found our perfect new home. Wilma also came equipped with top-notch service of flooring and kitchen countertop experts. On top of all of that, Guy installed and “smart-homed” our lighting with Google nest technology. We were so impressed and excited! It immediately transformed our space. Holly, who is an amazing interior designer, finished it all with such gorgeous staging.   Within less than two week’s time the house was ready! It transformed to a magazine dream worthy home. It was unbelievable how beautiful everything turned out that we hardly recognized it! The level of excellence that resulted in our home’s transformation was just the beginning of what was a sale of a lifetime. With much excitement and anticipation, our home was listed on the market. With an expertly picked listing price, we knew that we would get some attraction and traffic with our home. However, we were amazed with the amount of appointments made to see our home and the total number of offers. We received over 300 appointments and on top of that, we received over 60 registered offers on offer day! Wow, wow, wow! With Wilma and Kirk’s expert negotiations, they were able to navigate through the many offers and got us top dollar results of one amazing offer that no one could have imagined. Our house sold in five days and sold for more than $200,000 over list price! We couldn’t believe it! The sale of our home not just helps our new home, but secures the future of our family! We could not be where we are today without the Fournier family. I write all of this because I hope you read it and sense how much they mean to us. Kirk was our realtor as we were trying to buy our first home in a complex situation. We were living in another province, during the pandemic, we had a limited budget, and were looking for a very particular type of property in a limited geographic area. Kirk came though with great communication, making the process super straightforward. He made us feel comfortable the whole time, and got us the biggest property we had seen in that price point, making us the winners of a 14 person bidding war at a great price (after the house was on the market for only 1 day). Kirk is detail oriented, knows his regulations well, and has great insight into how to negotiate during bidding wars (emphasis on this last point because we really couldn’t have done this without him!). He puts in effort to make sure you see the houses you’re interested in (even during a windstorm!) and will give you his honest advice (even if it’s not what you want to hear but need to hear). He never once pressured us to submit a price we were not comfortable with and he identified possible concerns with homes, while we had our rose coloured glasses on. His experience with investment properties or homes that have renters in them helped us be informed and protected as we were doing our search. He also works with a great network of people around him, and though we didn’t get to work with the rest of the Fournier team, his recommendation of mortgage advisor was one of the main reasons we were able to make all of this happen so quickly.
