We were introduced to Mark by a friend of ours who was very happy with him in an earlier transaction, and we can confirm that Mark has done a truly excellent job for us. Our case was not a standard case but he delivered above our expectations. During the pandemic, we were still in Belgium, waiting for our Permanent Residence (PR) to be approved. At that early stage, Mark started to work with us via remote calls to identify our needs and guide us as to what we could reasonably expect in terms of price, house quality, regions, and so on. When we landed in Canada for our PR at the end of 2021, we had only one week here. Mark had set up two appointments and one was our dream house. Whilst driving back to the airport, we called Mark, told him our bid amount, and even though it was a Saturday, Mark had all the paperwork ready by the time we arrived at the airport where we could sign it electronically just before we flew back to Belgium. When we landed in Europe, we received news that the offer got accepted. It was at this point that Mark clearly went above and beyond the call of duty. Not only did he organise everything for us, such as inspections for the house, well and septic, but he also drove out to Balderson to be there on site as the inspectors were visiting. In addition, when a small water leak was identified in a downstairs room, Mark added a condition to the housing transaction that was reviewed and labelled as "excellent" by our lawyer. This clause saved us a lot of money in fixing the problem and restoring the room. We were abroad for the whole of this period and landed only on 3 April, just in time for the closing on 7 April. During this period, we were very dependent on Mark, but he performed brilliantly: he was honest as can be, protected our interests, found us dependable house inspectors, coordinated everything for us, guided our thinking as to what was realistic, wrote excellent legal amendments, and so on - all the while being friendly and responding quickly. Without exaggerating, I can say that he was the rock upon which we built our early life in Canada.
